Or does he? And I'm not trying to stir **** up, serious question here. #1 P4P in the world you would figure would have some monumental deal with Nike or some ****
Why doesn't Floyd have any sponsors?

I'm guessing it's because his image isn't family friendly what with him and his crew having planned visits to strip clubs and whatnot so it's kind of hard to market him to everybody without someone being pissed off.
What's funny about the family friendly image thing because Reebok was sponsoring Rick Ross and he talks about all kinds of illegal shyt. 2 Chainz has done some advertising for Adidas at the very least and I'm sure there are other shoe companies that sponsor rappers.Last edited by Biolink; 11-27-2013, 12:00 AM.Comment

Getting a sponsership deal is good or bad. If you want to grow your own brand you can make a lot more money than you can working for someone else. I think he is trying to build something of his own and doing that competing with people who will sponser. If he can manage to grow a brand in the time he's still fighting he can retire and still make money off the brand.
If you don't want to start a brand, sponsership is the way to go...but also floyd is very arrogant, he doesn't want people to make money off of him when they didn't really do anything. I think that was the original reason he gave.Comment

A lot of sponsered people are terrible human beings ... it has nothing to do with family image.I'm guessing it's because his image isn't family friendly what with him and his crew having planned visits to strip clubs and whatnot so it's kind of hard to market him to everybody without someone being pissed off.

****y and boring...not exactly the type you'd wanna sponsor to attract buyers...
floyd's appeal is the annoyance people have on him more than anything altho he's an excellent boxer, he's not exactly a guy that puts on a show.. ...Comment

I believe it is because of his style, no company would want their brand represented in a fight by running and dodging. Everybody wants their brand to be represented in a strong way. Also his ducking reputation doesn't help either. If I had a sports brand, I would sponsor fighters like Pacquiao, Golovkin, Thurman, Maidana... etc.Comment
