If Froch doesn't give Groves the rematch next, I think he can't sell another fight in the UK.

Most likely Froch will rematch Groves, he will go with what the people want and what makes most economic sense. But whether he wins is another story. Froch was looking slow and sluggish in there, he has never been the fastest fighter but it did seem like either age was catching up with him or he hadn't prepared properly for Groves. Or a combo of the two.

I'm so glad nobody said no.

The only fights i'd see as acceptable other than Groves is GGG or Ward.

Damn right. There are 5 birds in my office who were talking about that fight on Monday who only ever mentioned boxing previously when David Haye went in "I'm a Celebrity..."

A rematch will be a modern day Eubank V Benn on the popularity charts. And Froch facing Ward would be as if Benn fought Roy Jones instead of Eubank, the better opponent, but not the bigger fight.

He can't continue with his career and not rematch Groves, He'd be the laughing stock of the UK. Him fighting Ward means nothing at this point. Anytime he speaks to anyone from this point on the question will be" When you rematching Groves?"

Kessler 3 does not compare with a Groves rematch,Ward 2 makes no sense right now. I was shocked at how sloppy and shoddy Forch's performance was. His hands were low he slow almost like he had not bothered to prepare properly. Unless age has caught up with him I wold expect a far tighter defense and sharper performance next time. I think he underestimated Groves and it showed in his below par performance. I don't think he was happy with how he and will want the rematch to set the record straight. IMO Groves was winning but an up for it on his game Froch beats Groves.
The stoppage was bad, the boxing public have been sold short and want to see the rematch. The demand is there it is the obvious fight although I can see Hearn not wanting it and going another route. I can see him cashing out on the remains of Froch's career while lining up Groves to be the next meal ticket fighter.
