Joe schools Froch he adapts to his opponents this is Joe's strength you can't train this you are either born with it or you are not. Joe would f beaten Ward, Toney a prime Jones Jr and don't be fooled despite Bernard Hopkins age when he fought Joe he was just as good and even in his prime he is rare he never lost it even up until then and Joe beat him in the States. Joe Is the best Super Middle of all time whether you admit it or not - I know Froch fans won't but they are dilussional.
calzaghe been hurt than froch though. Once against a 42 Hopkins whom has zero power

Once against a shot roy jones

And once against a past it journeyman nelson where he windmilled a victory out of no where.

      Different class to Ottke

He was a hard puncher before he damaged his hands, only person he wouldnt have definitely beat was prime RJJ, not saying he wouldnt just that could go either way, if prime Roy had put him down in round 1 he would have struggled to get back into fight, so fast but Calzaghe was all about being a winner and adjusting
I agree calzaghe is arguably the greatest fighter of all time.

Go back and watch a young Bernard Hopkins. Of those 20 (or however many it was) defenses of the middleweight title, he KO a lotta guys homie. He wasn't. And in his light heavyweight title winning effort, he KD'd Tarver. He wasn't Bob Foster. But to say he had ZERO power is a bit of a stretch.

As for the B-Hop and RJ wins. I haven't even brought up his fight with RJ because its irrelevant to his and RJ's legacies. As for B-Hop, I call bull**** on folks that say his win came too late. B-Hop was coming off wins over Tarver and Winky. He was the universally recognized light heavyweight champ. And he was top 5 on pretty much every P4P list. Its not like beating B-Hop six months after he dismantled Tito. But it was a damn good win that Joe deserves major props for.
where i'm from & back in the 90s the WBO belt was on par with the NABF & USBA or in Europe i'd compare it to the EU belt. was calzaghe fighting the top WBC, IBF & WBA contenders before lacy or was he defending against the top WBO guys in Europe?

A lot of people are trying to discredit Joe's record - he beat a prime Kessler who had never lost arguably one of the best Super Middle's of all time, Hopkins who was not past it see what his achieved since losing to Joe, Lacey who was considered the next super star of boxing, Bika a current world champ and lets not forget Eubank was the favourite going into that fight he retired undefeated in and is well respected by most boxing experts around the globe - I understand Froch has issues with Joe but that does not mean if you support Froch you have to agree with him and try and discredit Joe because of this be proud of a British fighter that has carried the flag for this great nation and is well respected.

what is that supposed to mean he got hurt this is boxing man- you do get hurt but his never been stopped he found a way to win and his never had a ref who saved him from defeat unlock your hero on your profile picture- his a 2 weight world champ and if you think Hopkins has no power you are dillusional- Jo is the best Super Middle in History in my opinion feel free to disagree.

Froch is a slow mediocre fighter, he does nothing great, or special that stands out.

Roy did not hurt Joe hurt w/ a punch. Replay clearly showed he was knockdown and hurt by Roy's forearm. Roy never hurt Joe with any punches.

True, Bika is a tough out for anyone. People do tend to overlook that one, incl me.

Let me get this straight, you think Joe would have beaten a prime 168 lb Roy Jones?

he wasn't seriously hurt but he was definitely momentarily dazed and went down. I don't know how on earth anyone can watch that fight and think calzache would have any chance against a young prime jones. there's just no way
