God this arguing is dumb.
Pacquiao get his due for beating Hatton at a weight he was undefeated at, even if he wasn't quite the same guy he was when Floyd TKO'd him while undefeated and Top 10 P4P. Much like Floyd still gets his due for beating Genaro even though Oscar beat him a few years earlier.
Pacquiao beat Cotto first, a very solid win at 147. Floyd beat Cotto at 154, both get credit for it.
Floyd beating Guerrero and Ortiz weren't ground breaking, but they were solid wins on a resume against top ranked WW contenders, while Pacquiao was fighting Marquez 3 at a weight he'd been shut out by Floyd at, and now Rios who was 1-1 at 140 coming off a loss to Alvarado, and had never fought at 147 either. At least Ricky Hatton was THE MAN at 140 when Floyd fought him, similar to Pac-Bradley and what May-Garcia would be.
