    God this arguing is dumb.

Pacquiao get his due for beating Hatton at a weight he was undefeated at, even if he wasn't quite the same guy he was when Floyd TKO'd him while undefeated and Top 10 P4P. Much like Floyd still gets his due for beating Genaro even though Oscar beat him a few years earlier.

Pacquiao beat Cotto first, a very solid win at 147. Floyd beat Cotto at 154, both get credit for it.

Floyd beating Guerrero and Ortiz weren't ground breaking, but they were solid wins on a resume against top ranked WW contenders, while Pacquiao was fighting Marquez 3 at a weight he'd been shut out by Floyd at, and now Rios who was 1-1 at 140 coming off a loss to Alvarado, and had never fought at 147 either. At least Ricky Hatton was THE MAN at 140 when Floyd fought him, similar to Pac-Bradley and what May-Garcia would be.

Ortiz not a single win at 147 proper, not a single top 10 win at any regulation weight. Guerrero not a single top 10 win at welter, but that'll get you a #3 rating with GBP owned Ring mag

Yes, that's why when Pac finally agreed, Floyd moved the goal posts.

Ortiz didn't beat anyone amazing, but he did beat Berto, at a time Berto was seen as a viable opponent for Pacquiao and Mayweather. At the time, Ortiz was a legit solid fight, while Manny was fighting Mosley and Marquez 3. Guerrero at a time he was coming off Aydin and Berto, and it was the only realistic fight to be made for May 2013. Who else was Floyd going to fight???

And Floyd just fought Canelo who EVERYONE wanted him to fight.

Neither are AMAZING, but solid/decent wins.

I'm just saying, you scratch below the surface and the wins don't look half as good. For example Guerrero no genuine top 10 win at welter (or LWW), and nary a good win in any division. "4 division, 6 time champ" lmao. Last full belt at 130 vs paper champ Klassen, part of IBF's South African circle jerk.

And most Floyd fans here (not you, I believe) don't give much credit for catchweight wins, at least before May 2013. So according to that, not a single creditable, top 10 win on Ortiz' resume in any division. That's kind of a cherrypick, pick a guy who looks good superficially, but look closer and not much there.

I want the fight to happen just so Floyd can ko Pacquiao and shut all the ******s up. Pac and company don't want the fight. They are content to matching him with C level fighters and hyping that **** up

Fans are fans. They'll ignorantly justify their idols when they (idols) don't give two **** of how wrong they are.

All I can think of is either Mayweather has too much ego or is a little bit afraid, I seriously think the latter shouldn't be the case... for a grown man.

As long as the CW isn't super detrimental, I give credit. Manny gets his for Cotto, Floyd gets his for Canelo.

But you seem busy trying to say why those weren't decent/solid wins at the time, all the whole excusing Manny it seems who hasn't fought a legit good fight other then Bradley since Cotto and Clottey.
