It has been shown before that Floyd, although the best cherrypicker in the world in my opinion, will neutralize any style presented before him, whether, it is speed, power, physical advantages or technique.

In this case, Mayweather will neutralize Manny's speed. No question.

Based on WHAT ? Who has JR fought that is faster than Manny in the past ten years? Who has greater angles with Speed that JR has fought in the past ten years??

This will only happen if Floyd stands in PacMan's kitchen but he wont. Floyd talks big but he knows pac would khtfo if he lets of one of those 5 punch combos. With that being said, Floyd hasnt age enough to not be able to stay out of range. Floyd could pot shot, duck, and clinch making the fight a 12 round snooze fest. Pac wouldnt be able to get of the combos because he doesnt or can't cut of the ring. I like both fights because each represent a different expect of the sweet science, but I just cant see Pac winning without cutting the ring off or having floyd fight toe-toe.

if Pac's speed did not overwhelm, JMM, Bradley and countless others, why would it overwhelm Floyd. This is more lip service trying to attract/sell a fight.

i think everyone over-emphasizes the speed issue... i think pacs greatest asset to beating floyd is his awkwardness and punch output. pac matches floyd's speed, but so did zab. floyd admits his toughest fight was augustus, because of how unpredictable he was... now imagine if you add speed, power, & output to the equation... thats a LEGIT threat, team mayweather recognized that and acted accordingly.

but i agree, the hype train is starting again... thats good for floyd. lets convince the world pac is on the same level again so the money will be right. i say if pac avenges his loss to bradley, that would be a great time to make talks again. both of these guys dont have much options.
