The duck shipped out for Showtime to put another wrench in the PAC fight, ducked Martinez for years too and soon will duck Thurman even though they have the same financial advisor Al Haymon which can easily make that fight happen but Fraud won't take the risk and will fight bum ass Amir Khan next. Come on man are you for real? its not a duck when Martinez is a middleweight and walks around over 170pds - last time I checked he has stamina issues, multiple injuries, and very bad knees

Pac has a serious leg cramping issue (do your research) and has very poor ring IQ - being overly aggressive with no patience against one of the best counter punchers in the game, and you should know this because you fought him 3 previous times shows a lack of ring IQ (not skill set, but IQ)

Thurman is good, but who has he beaten yet? (Mayweather is a very tough fight because he stays in the gym and in peak condition so he can move around for 12 rounds

Amir Khan makes the most sense at this level, because Mayweather has a very high guarantee, and not many boxers can bring a B side that will ensure him his guarantee (in lamens terms - Khan has the fan base to possibly pull it off)

Leave emotion out of it, I am sure you do not personally know Mayweather - so why hate, wish him to lose, but anything beyond that is a waist of good energy.

        War Soto Karass.

It looks like everyone is writing him off. I see him as a live dog. Thurman hasn't fought anyone yet, and Soto Karass has fought everyone. He has the edge in the experience department. His defense isn't very good but he has a great chin and if he fights a smart, intelligent fight he can win. I know everyone will say he was stopped by Maidana, but everyone that gets dragged into a brawl with Maidana gets stopped. Ortiz, Lopez, and S. Karass were all doing well against Maidana but started to trade him and that spells bad news.

If S. Karass can avoid being hit with any big shots early and drag this fight into the 2nd half of the fight, I think he can take Thurman where he's never been before and take him out of his comfort zone and win this fight. I doubt he will win a decision though. Thurman can punch, but I think his power is a little overrated. He didn't stop Zavek, who is a small ww and not that hard to hit either. Im pulling for Karass but the only way he wins is by ko probably, he won't win a decision even if he deserves it.

          ???

Wether you like it or not Zavek and Quintana are decent names at this stage of Thurman's career. They are seasoned vets.

Why again was Thurman supposed to stop Zavek? Zavek was stopped vs Berto on a cut and had never been down.

These guys arent world beaters but neither is SK.

Who did Zavek ever beat? Nobody. And Quintana had only fought 3 times since 2009. Not to mention he has been stopped in every fight he's lost.
They came to get cash a check and nothing more.

Oh ok... So you went from saying Thurman fought nobody to he fought people who only came to cash a check. Pretty sure Thurman's power had nothing to do with it right?

I disagree - Thurman is the future star of boxing - this kid has everything and I am looking forward to see him put on another awesome display against Karass- too early for Mayweather give the kid a chance to establish himself - Thurman to win by stoppage anytime after 5 rounds.

I woulsn't consider Aydin to be top talent as he was beat by a lightweight coming off a long layover and surgery, and the fact that Aydin just went down in weight to compete.

I actually like this pacing of Thurman's fight schedule, I think the next few fights will be stepping up his comp. Maybe towards the end of 2014 we'll see a major title fight.

Thurman is gonna merk Karrass. No disrespect Karass is a beast and is a tough mofo, but he will be stopped. To be honest initially when I heard about this fight I was kind of pissed because in a sense this fight is a step down for thurman. He's going from fighting an undefeated contender to basically a journeyman.. Can't hate tho Karass is well known and has been in with some good competition, decent fight for Thurman. regardless the fight is gonna be exciting af.
