You already showed what kind of fan you are calling $40 mil "chump change" for a fighter who never earned that much and is fighting for $18 mil plus ppv that is expected to make him $10 mil less than that.

When your parents offer you $25 allowance do you turn to them and say "no, thats chump change" and then take the trash out for $20?

I know this might be difficult for you, but try removing Mayweather's balls out of your mouth and try and look at the bigger picture. When you're offering a proven and legitimate ppv draw absolutely zero percentage of the ppv money - a fight that would have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue - you are effectively low balling him.

Hey, Mayweather himself had to accept the "chump change" to get that DLH fight. It made so much but he took the serious short end.

Mayweather wasn't in position to accept anything less than "chump change" against De La Hoya. His three previous ppv fights combined barely scratched over the million mark. And he made a good $15 million off of the ppv revenue, so he didn't exactly get short changed in that deal.

To end 90% of the debates:

1. 6 fights for each since delahoya stats : Mayweather 1.17 million buys/Pacquaio 1.07 buys average per fight..the difference 100,000 buys!

2. The fight never happened and it wasn't due to either boxer. Schaeffer wanted to be Arum and Arum tried to son him. Schaeffer wanted it to be a GBP event and Arum wanted it to be a Top Rank event...neither conceeded.

3. Pacquaio and Mayweather aren't/have never been scared to fight each other.

4. Despite what is on believed both men have had a mostly respectful opinion of each other, aside from the PED allegations Floyd has spoken highly of Pacquaio throughout the years and even while being accused of killing the fight Pacquaio himself has never publicly criticized Floyd outside of the PED allegation stuff.

5. Both fan bases need to chill the f...out! Doesn't matter who you think wins and who you think loses. Doesn't even matter, what matters is the historical aspect of this fight happening which frankly is important to the sport.

6. I hope it does happen and i'm sorry but 100,000 more buys does not entitle any fighter to dictate finances. Cut it down the middle, make it a mandatory bout..end of story....both men go down in history and both men walk out richer than ever= Everyone happy.

Pacquaio is going to earn close to $30 million for fighting Rios...Rios..both coming off losses he off back to back..the only difference PPV # wise between Pacquaio and Mayweather is 100,000 people more buy Floyd's ppv's (Grantland has broken down the numbers) let's just say both mens events make about the same amount of money with a difference of like 4 to 6 million bucks. This shhhh is the most lucrative event for either man...one can't get that payday without the other.

Compared to DLH he did. The fact is, 50/50 wasn't on the table and he didn't get precious about what he was going to earn. He thought he would win and the big money would come after. He gambled on himself to get that fight which is why he parted ways with Arum in the first place. A wiley promoter like Arum actually said the money wasn't in a Mayweather/DLH fight. He didn't see the bigger picture and neither did Pacquiao. Pacquiao now says more stringent testing is good for boxing, why didn't he think that way with 50/50 on the line? Either he knew it then but didn't care or he was too ****** to know until now. Which do you think it was?

You are making the same lame argument that Pacquaio nuthuggers have been making for years and it makes no more sense than it did in 2009 and 2010 when this message board was littered with 20 posts a day saying the same thing.

Pacquaio refused to consent to random drug testing and refused to consent to drug testing without a cutoff date. Saying "I agree to drug testing if I know when the tests are going to be given" is the equivalent of openly cheating on an exam and expecting the instructor to give you the highest grade possible.

Mayweather/Mosley, Mayweather/Ortiz and Mayweather/Cotto did not have a cutoff date. The USADA simply chose not to test after a certain date. The boxers didn't know when the testing would stop, so it is is not the same thing.
