Manny is human now. Not only that, he's a massive underdog against Floyd. The appeal was that it was close to a 50/50 fight. And actually, most casuals thought Pac would win. That has totally flip-flopped. Very few of that projected record breaking number was tuning in to seeFloyd win. Since they now believe that that won't happen, many won't bother to tune in.

    • We'll see what happens when it comes to fight making time, Arum knows what it will take and if he is willing to accept that sort of deal. Kind of a pointless thing to be talking about at this point as this is not the matter at hand currently.

      • The ******ity of some people on here, its got to happen next year.

Its the biggest fight in boxing out there by a country mile, EVERYONE WOULD WATCH IT.

People ( mostly floyd fans) saying pacquiao's done and he's shot are absolutely ******, if he did get dominated by marquez then yeah hes lost his touch but he comfortably beat bradley and was dominating marquez till he ran into a punch( which from a purely Analytical point does nothing to hinder pacquiao.)

        • Mayweather TKO 5 or 6.

How's Oscar doing these days? Say "hi" for me the next time you visit him? You do visit him, right? Seeing as you admire him so much.

Hitking and holywarrior - Pac is no longer a threat and Jr's says I don't need him

Sombodys gonna come up with a GREAT EXCUSE

What Excuse Do YOU think JR will use to Duck Pac ?
I didn't say Pacquiao wasn't a threat, I'm just saying Mayweather is at a point in his career where he isn't obligated to justify his large purses because it's already in his contract.

And Mayweather DOESNT need him. For what? This is a business, no disrespect to Pac but they were able to afford fighting others and seemed happy to do so. Pacquiao doesn't need Mayweather either.

Look what Canelo/Mayweather just did. Like 20 million dollars not including selling out all the closed circuits. There was absolutely no need for a stadium.
Despite being a huge fight, Canelo vs Mayweather was simply never going to be as big as Pacquiao vs Mayweather during the peak of interest.

Anyway, all I am saying is the stadium at the time, was a realistic proposition.

Was it the best idea? I dont know, but I happen to favor the stadium because when the fight was still hot, it deserved a live audience of 100,000 people.

Manny has fought more. Don waaaaay more and was Fighter of the decade. 50/50 wasnt a bad offer. Floyd said NO. Or was it Quack Quack?
40 million and No PPV...heheheh Floyd is a ***ing ******. Manny is getting 30mil and PPV for fighting RIOS.....lmfao.
Manny accepted $18 mil plus ppv and requested PED testing to fight Rios. Had he done this in 2009 you would be calling yourself "Sergio-Boy" for the last 4 years on NSB.
