Flat fee? LMAO...you must have lost your mind. Pacquaio is going to earn close to $30 million for fighting Rios...Rios..both coming off losses he off back to back..the only difference PPV # wise between Pacquaio and Mayweather is 100,000 people more buy Floyd's ppv's (Grantland has broken down the numbers) let's just say both mens events make about the same amount of money with a difference of like 4 to 6 million bucks. This shhhh is the most lucrative event for either man...one can't get that payday without the other.

Well, the only way the fight is gonna happen is without GBP or without Top Rank. So somebody is gonna have to bend over, and its probably gonna have to be Pac considering each's current stature in the sport. You can put all the numbers you want out there. But the fact is, Floyd ain't working with Arum. So in order for the fight to be made, Pac's gonna be bought outta his Top Rank contract for a night. If he and his promoter ain't cool with that, the fight isn't gonna happen and there's no need to keep talking about it.

Pac signing an extension with Arum a couple years ago ended all hopes of Floyd-Pac being made. If the fight isn't gonna be made, Pac's gonna have to accept a flat fee from Floyd, and break Arum of a piece of that and tell him to stay the **** outta the way. And me thinks Arum's ego is way too big for him not to be apart of one of the biggest promotions in boxing history, that will be involving his top dawg. And for whatever reason, Pac is too loyal to Arum to tell him to check his ego at the door.

Unless you own stock at the MGM, you have no reason to doubt the revenue potential for the entire tourism economy of a Las Vegas had the stadium been constructed when the fight was still hot

IF Arum had such faith in these new stadiums he wouldve kept having Pacquiao fight in them, but they did poorly at the gate. That's why Pac never fought there again after they bombed

As for revenue, The entire tourism industry in Vegas would collectively share an economic boost as a result of the fight. Everybody wins.

And if you had trouble getting out of the MGM for Cotto vs Floyd, then you are obviously not a high roller.

No it isn't I already told you why on a previous post you ignored. Ask yourself why a stadium hasn't been build in the entertainment capital of the world. It's not like you are some sort of visionary. I remember bob claimed that it was going to be a temporary structure, ok to hold 50-100k people? Who's going to fund that temporary structure I've seen 20k+ temporary fields take up to 4 months and over 30m dollars.

To close your dumb argument.
The reason a casino would want a mega fight is to attract the high rollers to THEIR casino. They don't give a **** about the rest of Vegas. They want them ******** in their casino.

And again, even if they had built another stadium to fit 100K, it wouldn't have generated the amount of money because you can't charge high dollar for tickets in such a large stadium.
Hence why MGM grand has yielded multiple record breaking live gates, while other stadiums have not.

Floyd HAS to fight in his home town in Vegas where he can have a crowd at all times. There is always a crowd there. To end 90% of the debates:

1. 6 fights for each since delahoya stats : Mayweather 1.17 million buys/Pacquaio 1.07 buys average per fight..the difference 100,000 buys!

2. The fight never happened and it wasn't due to either boxer. Schaeffer wanted to be Arum and Arum tried to son him. Schaeffer wanted it to be a GBP event and Arum wanted it to be a Top Rank event...neither conceeded.

3. Pacquaio and Mayweather aren't/have never been scared to fight each other.

4. Despite what is on believed both men have had a mostly respectful opinion of each other, aside from the PED allegations Floyd has spoken highly of Pacquaio throughout the years and even while being accused of killing the fight Pacquaio himself has never publicly criticized Floyd outside of the PED allegation stuff.

5. Both fan bases need to chill the f...out! Doesn't matter who you think wins and who you think loses. Doesn't even matter, what matters is the historical aspect of this fight happening which frankly is important to the sport.

6. I hope it does happen and i'm sorry but 100,000 more buys does not entitle any fighter to dictate finances. Cut it down the middle, make it a mandatory bout..end of story....both men go down in history and both men walk out richer than ever= Everyone happy.

Cowboys stadium was originally intended for Pacquiao vs Floyd.

But when Arum and Schaefer were scheduled to meet Jerry Jones, Schaeffer cancelled at the last minute.

So, Arum and Jones went ahead anyway and did the Clottey and Margarito fights. Which did in fact make plenty of profit.

Was it enough to keep fighting there? Probably not which is fine because the only reason Cowboys stadium became involved in boxing was for the purpose of staging Mayweather vs Pacquiao.
