This is the superbowl of boxing bro..every brand, every location, everyone and their mother with a product/brand is going to want in on this. I'll say the event does $50 million or more in brand sponsorship alone. Not counting the easy $150 to $200 million in global ppv buys and not counting gates and merchandise. Anytime this fight has been broken down numbers wise it's come close to $400 million in total gross for the fight.
Feel free to link me to the breakdown though as I'd love to be proven wrong as Delahoya/Mayweather didn't come close to 400 million and neither had Delahoya's drawer power.

Pacquiao has only paid lip service to more stringent testing until now. Only recently he stated it was "good for boxing". Why has he only just come to this realisation? He might have "agreed" to it, but now he's the one demanding it. If he had that attitude then, we'd have had the fight. Why do you think he made the leap? From talking about it to actually being the one demanding?
First time I heard about Mayweather asking for test was from a local Detroit news. It summed up what Pacquiao has agreed to and reported that what Pacquiao had agreed to was way above and beyond current testing rules. The cut off was the issue.
Mayweather's tests with Mosley had a 19 day cut off. His fight with Ortiz had 18 days cut off. About 16 days in the Cotto, so there's the pattern. Floyd himself never go beyond 14 days.
I agree with you. Pacman should have called your idol's testing bluff right away.
To me it's not so much about the testing. Mayweather wanted more money. If Pacquiao said yes to Floyd's testing brand, Floyd would have come up with another roadblock.
Four years have passed. Floyd's behaviour in all those years should have been enough to make you realize it's Floyd that is blocking the fight.
If you're saying Floyd can do no wrong... there's nothing more to say to you.

You can bet your life MGM will be ponying up upwards of $30 million alone to lock in this event.

Anyone who believes anything that comes out of Bob Arum's mouth is an idiot. Arum said this same thing a few weeks ago. He is trying to sell the Pacquaio/Rios fight just as he was a few weeks ago and just as he was when he said the same thing in 2010, 2011 and 2012. When Pac fights again in June 2014, Arum will claim that the fight can be made in 2015. Arum has no intention of making Mayweather/Pacquaio and it is sad to see so many fools on this site fall for Arum's BS and talk sh.t like the fight has already been signed.
