Groves is in the best position to reject the rematch. He doesn't need it after getting the moral victory and tonnes of new fans.
Froch needs Groves now more than Groves needs him. You can't claim to be a warrior when you get a lucky win (in the eyes of the majority of the public).Comment

It was all Groves! when was the last time you seen Carl hurt and out on his feet? Not gonna argue that Groves was winning. Not gonna argue that Froch was looking like a stoppage winner.
I wanna point out that Jim Watts commentary was appaling. Gave Froch no crddit for the good work that he did. It was all Groves Groves Groves

dont mention
Taylor that was a flash KD almost.
He was so dominated on this occasion by a 19-0 fighter who has never fought a world class fighter so you cant compare to JT fight.
Man someone post a GIF of the Froch KD, He was out before he hit the canvas...lol I would love to have seen Rob Mccracken face at that secComment

I do think the only person who was hard done by in the end was Froch. Instead of everyone talking about Froch's ability to come back from an impossible situation all the talk is now about how the ref cheated Groves.
Groves might beat him in the rematch as he showed he's got better technique/speed, but in terms of this fight he was done and yet he still came out of it with his head held high because of the ref.Well some people would still appreciate him especially when all these referee stuffs dies down a bit, to be honest I thought he was gone in the first round, if that was Amir Khan then fight over. Froch got up and then took even more worse looking right hands that landed right on the button. That was a warrior type stuff.Down heavily in the first and getting outboxed and only got stronger & was putting a beatdown on Groves.
Froch is a ****ing warrior and hes getting **** for the referees call when he was on the verge of stopping the b4stard anyway?
Groves own fault for turning his back & slumping and not intelligently defending himself.Comment

That's up to the ref, it's his call. I agree with you though, Groves was done and likely heading for a violent KO.
I'm bemused by the attitude of boxing fans sometimes.Comment

You always agree with the worst decisions and robberies. Your mom should have aborted you as a fetus.Comment

Look at the legs, they are gone along with his defences.
Even after the ref lets him go, first thing he does is stagger into the middle rope. Ref should have let Froch finish it truly, but I see no way that it gets to the end of that round.Comment

Groves didn't turn his back, he was facing Froch and still coming forward when the ref stopped it.Down heavily in the first and getting outboxed and only got stronger & was putting a beatdown on Groves.

Also Froch deserves to get **** for saying the stoppage was good.
Groves was still coming forward and alert enough to keep his hands up.
And check out Froch hitting Groves on the break, almost hitting the ref with his elbow and the ref doesn't say anything.
This really pisses me off.Comment
