I was watching on a choppy picture. Was Groves really hurt when the ref jumped in? I see a lot of "Froch would have gotten him anyway, the ref didn't need to do that." Groves looked a little hurt and wobbly, but nothing to suggest he couldn't make it out of the round.

Froch is getting roundly booed.

He did hit him with some flush punches at the end but Groves coulc have made it out of the round imo. I think he was tiring out and Froch was getting more aggressive, thus creating openings and opportunities and would have seriously hurt and/or stopped Groves the next round.

I'm very happy for Groves. He gave as good as he got, showed he is skilled/talented and with a little more composure (which will come with experience), he'll get Froch next time. He tried to fight fire with fire, but I think he has the attributes to make it a bit easier for himself.
