Froch got schooled tonight. No way in hell he would win this one. Absolutely ridiculous decision, but the one that will mark Groves for life.

If the rematch ever happens Groves beats him even worse.

Stop making up ****. He wasn't "out on his feet." Where do you get that from? Froch was the one out of his feet in round 1.

Was a bit of a soft stoppage, but to be honest I can't see how Groves was going to survive it anyway. He was getting hit with everything and there was still ages left in the round. Might be a mistake by the ref, but all it changed is that Groves didn't take another minute of punishment.

The score and the fact it's a world title fight doesn't make any difference, the ref has to protect the fighters regardless of the circumstances. If he thinks it's dangerous then that's it.

he lost the fight due to stamina cause he was doing great when he still had gas in the tank, he started to get caught with silly shots when he got tired from rd7 and onward...you got my point now?
and of course the ref was an idiot..that doesn't help the fact that Groves didn't do enough roadwork in the training camp...

Groves was still trying to clinch and defend himself when the ref decided to stop it. The ref didn't even step in, Groves fell into him and he just waved it off. The stoppage was bizarre, but whatever. Groves performed well enough to where his career can still move forward without a problem.

Booth would have stopped Groves throwing too many shots.

But realistically if Groves has 10 seconds more in round 1 he ends it and he knocks Froch out in one round, lol. So you can't blame Groves for swinging the hammer.

Groves is going to be box office - he's very exciting.
