if Groves improves his stamina, i think he will be a force to reckon with..a huge mistake not putting in enough cardio to last 12 rds in high pace

How do you know how much cardio he did? He looked like he started to fade but how do you know he wasn't gonna get his second win? You need to watch more boxing.

Absolutely disgusted!!!! Groves put on the performance of a lifetime, yes he got caught but wtf, how do you stop a world championship fight like that???

All credit for Froch to toughing it out but at times tonight Groves looked on a different level to Froch. Groves out jabbed, out muscled and out powered Froch. Man....I dunno, I'm lost for words.

I think Groves was trading with him to the end in order to find that same punch that dropped Froch in the first round.

Silly, silly stoppage. Groves hadn't even been dropped yet, was off the ropes and firing back. Froch was the only one who'd shown himself to get hurt in the fight.

There should be solid criteria for a standing stoppage by the ref, such as a previous knockdown, or a dropping of the arms.

Ah well, Froch won the lottery and his inability to shut up in the post-fight interview proves that he knows it. That knockdown will change things going forward. I doubt we'll ever see the same brick wall style Froch against top competition. He knows he can be hurt that way now, which he never was before.

This sucks for Groves, he could really have won this fight maybe even by stoppage. He wasn't even wobbly at the time of the stoppage, the ref HAD to be on the paycheck, no way any fight should be stopped after only two punches and especially when the other guy is fighting back an landing punches.
