I was absolutely disgusted last night but I watched the fight back again this morning and in my opinion the referee made the correct call. Groves was out on his feet, his eyes and legs had gone and had the referee let the fight continue then Groves could have easily ended up like Michael Watson. So for stopping that happening I applaud Howard Foster.

Looks kind of like Froch pushed him, and the ref grabbed him. He was taking big shots flush though, KO was imminent imo.

If you watched the fight then firstly by the same token..Froch should have been stopped in round one or another, he was getting hurt by repeated right hands and is too brave to stop. He lost his legs whereas Groves did not.

Groves had a low moving posture, and was ducking left and right with his guard up numerous times and throwing back. It may have looked like he was more wobbled than he was but he was low, moving, throwing, un-balanced as a result + Froch manouvering him and ref being in the way.

I don't think Groves is a liar, he'd have carried on just find after that exchange.

He'd taken other rights, had climbed of the floor and been more hurt and won before. He was protecting and throwing - so that's not "cannot defend himself".

Lol sometimes a photograph is full of lies. Groves wasn't done at that point but Froch had swung the momentum in his favor. I saw no reason for the fight to be stopped when it was especially with Groves ahead in the fight. I think Groves definitely deserves a rematch.
