why would i hate a fighter because of another dude fan overating him?

i hear alot of people saying this qoute "i wish that dude gets Koed so his fanbase would stfu", then they go "i like the boxer but i hate his fanbase thats why"

how would u guys break this down type of people?

You are correct.

I came close to hating Margarito AND his fan base. But in the end, I realized that not every Mexican defends what Margarito attempted to do.

I never hated Pac even though his fan base is the worst in boxing history.

The mods have not "got a lot sharper" with dealing with racism or stereotyping at all. I called a certain poster out on his bull**** stereotype of fans that like Broner and the guy is still on here posting today. All they did was delete his post, real convenient. The typical argument on this forum goes...if you even speak up for a technical or should I say "boring to some" black boxers your automatically categorized as a hood, on welfare, food stamp using, living at home bum. I've seen it plenty of times on hater threads particularly targeting Broner and Floyd. While I am the most unbias fan of boxing I know, and enjoy all boxers of all style and races, that **** needs to end. These are the same people that would not ever speak these words in person to anyone yet they sit behind their keyboards like cowards posting bull****, its really sad. Not once have I ever came across people, in person, that would even attempt to say some of the things some of our fellow posters get away with on here.

i mean i would dislike a boxer because of he himself, i would start dislikingthat fighter when i see something about him that would make me dislike him, more on his character... outside the ring character does affect the way i view the fighter, but because of his idiotic fans? come on now...

heres an example
i just became a GGG fan lately let say from his last fight with stevens, but b4 that i would see people calling ggg a god or overate him over the roof, did that stop me from liking and becoming a fan? no it didnt...
thats because i dont care what people or fan say i judge fighters just because of who they are and how they operate in the ring

By who? and how often? Thats garbage and its overwhelmingly the floyd and broner fans that are most likely to make racist remarks. You only have to go back as far as the last two days and 2-3 of them have been banned in the wake of the Roach-Ariza incident. Since they dealt with that whole shameful zimmerman stuff there has been hardly any of the kind of crap you're talking about.

Why acknowledge anything you say? You're completely disregarding what I spoke on too so who cares. I gave you a clear example of what is going on and you dismissed it just to speak this Roach-Ariza crap instead of staying on topic. Clearly by this post you only acknowledge one side of the pond and ignore the other. It was not only Floyd fans getting banned for racist remarks. Anyone making racial remarks or race baiting should be banned without a second chance, be it Black, Mexican, Asian, White ETC. That does not happen. Greater number LOL. A clear example? No, you just pulled something out of your arse that isnt in reality happening. As far as I've seen since that incident, the only people or the majority of people banned, have been the people I've mentioned. When I said greater number, I should have clarified and said greater number of trolls/idiots making duplicate thread after duplicate thread...Disprove that or STFU.

There's an element to these so called "fans" that have to criticize certain fighters that are more popular than their favorites and then the criticism becomes so frail it's transparent as hell. They aren't just haters of the fighters/fans but the sport itself. I see several of those guys posting in this thread too.
