TEAM GATTI if fortunate enough to get past Carlos should 1)fight a couple of fringe contenders, make a few more mil and get out of the game or 2) take the chance against Zab (only if Zab is still a money fight) because after watching Zab against Baldimor I think you would be a fool not to give Arturo a shot at that glass jaw.

He hasnt beaten anyone except for a overrated very green Cintron and he looked like **** against a sorry ass Santos who is feather fisted but still shook up Margarito.

Look, I dont think Gatti is great at all but I think if theres any so called elite fighter he matches up well against, it is Margarito. This guy is so overrated. He will get exposed by any top fighter he faces

Gatti may do better in this fight then alot of you think. Gatti isnt great but most of his problems come against boxers and real speedy guys. He doesnt have to worry about that with Margarito and I think his chin is suspect because Ive seen him shookup a few times and Gatti punches harder then anyone he's faced.

I think this fight would be a blood bath. Gatti will try to box but it wont work because he isnt great at it and Margarito will put alot of pressure on him so he will have to fight and I would pay to see that

Well hears the million dollar question? Who would Gatti rather fight if he beats baldomir and becomes the welterweight champion of the world?

Margarito or Judah? Because he eventually is goin to have to fight one of them. And he will Gatti has too much to vacate the title and retire.

I see it playing out 2 ways though, Gatti beating baldy and making title defense against lesser opponet then going for Margaito or Judah, then win or lose take 1 more fight then its off to puffin a stogie w/ Buddy McGirt and ridin off into the sunset on the way to Canastota

I suppose I could see a corner stoppage late in the fight....but Margarito is no counterpunching machine like DLH or PBF. Well moreso PBF but Oscar's speed was a factor.

I seriously doubt he can land cleanly and effectively enough to simply stop him like they did.

He will however beat his ass for 12 rounds pathetically. and get hit in the process as well.

and DLT how is it a question of Margarito being overhyped? If Marg is overhyped what is Gatti? Theyre just on diffent levels and at diffrent stages in their careers.Im not even high on El 7 mares ,because ive only seen 2 of his fights, his win over Cintron and his second fight with Santos.
