Who Wins: Gatti vs Margarito at 147?

Gatti may do better in this fight then alot of you think. Gatti isnt great but most of his problems come against boxers and real speedy guys. He doesnt have to worry about that with Margarito and I think his chin is suspect because Ive seen him shookup a few times and Gatti punches harder then anyone he's faced.

I think this fight would be a blood bath. Gatti will try to box but it wont work because he isnt great at it and Margarito will put alot of pressure on him so he will have to fight and I would pay to see that

I agree Margarito has no defense....but I think the difference in height and reach is so significant it keeps him out of harms way.

If Gatti lands...then sure. He could knock him out, I believe that....even though It hasn't happened to Margarito before.

Margarito is listed at 5'11. He's more like 6'0

Gatti is listed at 5'7. He's more like 5'6 or 5'5.

True but Margarito himself doesnt even care about that. He doesnt really use his height and try to stay outside. He just slugs and throws punches no matter where hes at. He wouldnt even try to stop you if you wanted to get inside on him. He would like it because he would think that you would have to fight him then and couldnt run.

Also he swings alot of wide punches and wild punches and I could see him beating Gatti up but then getting caught straight down the pipe with a big right hand while he is swinging a wide punch, and that would really hurt him

Id go with Marg the fresher fighter,and big for that wieght it seems.plus he's hungry for some spotlight where as Gatti is more on the way out.

This is a tough fight to pick. I think Gatti can outbox Margy, I can also see Margy winning this if Gatti gets cut & beat up by the bigger man.

I dont see it honestly,Ive never been impressed with gatti's power.What fights convinced you otherwise? Although Ive seen little of Tony,youd have to convince me otherwise that the man who campaigns at higher weights has less power than gatti.

Gatti can hurt you more with one punch, then Margy can. I think Gatti hits harder.
