I guess its an investment in the future with Ward. He needs a lot more exposure and to be fighting regularly. It didn't help that by the morning of the fight it was clear his opponent didn't stand a chance.

Also unlike those other fights this was just a tune-up.

the more people see ward the less they want to watch him. golovking is the opposite.
