Boxing has so many good people involved with total nutcases that it's a shame. No wonder boxing has no pension. Who do you trust nowadays.
I believe part of the reason Conte started VADA was to direct su****ion away from him.

People forget, last time Ward submitted to yearround random blood and urine testing, he won an Olympic Gold Medal ... He even moved up to Light Heavyweight to let Dirrell be the US Middleweight representative ... In the midst of a now-16 year undefeated streak ...

The idiots that want to continue to run with the allegations can continue to without looking like blatant bias *****es until Ward feels like taking the tests... He's going to continue to win before and after he chooses to make that decision.

What about when Ward was working with Conte? You don't trust anything that Conte has been involved with, except the guy that worked with him and doesn't do testing?
I don't trust Conte or VADA. Ward is/was just the fighter.

A few weeks ago I watched an interview with Dr. Goodman on Jim Lampley's HBO show.

Conte has an advisory role with VADA but she stated that so far they've met a couple times only and that he has zero influence on testing protocols.

So Memo fearing VADA due to some Conte agenda behind the scenes is without merit IMO.

Edwin's team should have requested VADA's involvement upfront during negotiations. That said, Ward's blanket refusal on any testing for this fight was not a good look because he pushes it publicly and yet so far he's failed to walk the talk.

I think he needs to adopt testing for his next fight in order to dispell any su****ion.

Im sorry but theres nothing about ward that says he is or ever has been dopeing even in his fights last satuday did not look like a man fighting off roids if ward took peds he would win by ko everytime in my opinion his lack of power is his only weakness.

Thinking that Ward will win by KO every time just shows how ignorant people are to the fact. I think may people need to educate themselves a little more about 'roids. It gives you a competitive edge; it does not make you tear phone books in half. I think VADA is a reasonable request, but let's be honest: " Ward's rebuilt/rehab-ed shoulder has "never been stronger" is a little bit of a red flag statement. No reason he should feel "bullied". We have had enough of that this past week in the NFL.. smh

Forget the drug testing for a sec. Do any of you really think that Ward was boring this weekend, lmao?

Why? Unlike VADA so far they haven't prevented a single cheat from entering the ring, and unlike VADA they've been implicated in numerous suspect activities.

it's only a controversy if you don't like Ward.

Edwin did it as a publicity stunt. I trust Ward will do USADA next time, no big deal (I wouldn't trust VADA either; not with the Conte association. Imagine if WADA was like to Heredia; you Conte fanboys would go nuts).
