Didn't read. I have already stated my issues with Andre on this drug testing stuff. He should have done it LONG AGO, period. No excuses about this or that.

Ward doesn't come across as a very Christian person to me. He is always bitter and arrogant.

What is this "research" Ward has been doing and why is it taking 4 years nows? People think getting test is so hard. You sign some papers and they test you, bam its pretty simple. But thats if you're clean and have nothing to hide.
          This.

I'm not convinced that testing will take place next time out.

He's an advisor, and VADA can't be trusted until all ties are broken with this criminal. No other sport in the world would trust a guy with Conte's background except boxing. Promoters and organizations were always shady, and now VADA has joined their ranks as being su****ious in my world all because of Conte. Boxing has so many good people involved with total nutcases that it's a shame. No wonder boxing has no pension. Who do you trust nowadays.

I'm on the fence about this. In one hand he's been advocating advanced testing for a while now but has still yet to test and didn't when asked to do so.
On the other hand, when you're the champ, you're not gonna let yourself get punked by a contender. Especially after negotiations have been over.

You could argue that Rodriquez knew Ward would not agree to the fight if presented with testing initially but these kinds of things are the kinds of these that arr for the negotiating table.

I'm gonna wait until Ward's next fight before calling him out on anything. If he agrees to testing next time and pushes for it then no harm no foul.

                    So Conte makes everything shady?

What about when Ward was working with Conte? You don't trust anything that Conte has been involved with, except the guy that worked with him and doesn't do testing?

There were several storylines that developed in the lead up to the fight and one of the bigger ones was the random drug testing that was proposed.

Ward refused to accept Rodriguez’s public request for both to participate in VADA random drug testing which in turn caused many to question Ward’s reluctance. When BoxingScene caught up with Ward after the fight, he was asked to address the criticism he’s received for his decision. Ward reiterated the testing was not brought up until after negotiations had ceased and even said he would like to meet with VADA President Margaret Goodman to further discuss the testing. I`ve been saying for the longest that a fighter who uses Conte is a conflict of Interest, because he`s a former roid dealer who knows the loopholes on a test. Also i agree with Ward 100%.People also have to consider the fact that Ward came off of shoulder surgery and the doctor may have gave him something that may cause a positive test reading, but not necessarily enhanced Ward`s performance.Perhaps maybe Edwin wanted to take advantage of that in case Ward wins.I noticed that Berto tested positive in his drug test after he came off of shoulder surgery, but before he got injured,he didn`t test positive. So most likely its something the doctor gave him for his arm that made his test come out positive. Its a fact that doctors give their patients substances that contain steroids to heal a person`s injury.
