Jurisdiction? You're kidding right? This was a huge loss for all of The Philippines. Pacquiao is a representative of the people. He has fought for The Philippines and has dedicated his fights to the Filipino People. Not once have I heard him dedicate any of his fights solely to the Saarangani provnce. To pigeon hole him into one specific demographic and have him only cater to this area is a joke when all of the country's provinces benefits and suffers from it's constituents.

Your welcome brother. At times like this we all need to console each other to get through this tragedy. I just feel so helpless. All I can do is send money to help. Just wish I was there helping the relief efforts. There is plenty of time to bash each other about boxing, this is the time to care about those in the Philippines and their family members around the world.

Unless a percentage of the money earned that night goes to relief funds, there really is no point in dedicating the fight to the Phillippines. How is dedicating the fight going to help the immediate needs of the Filipino people? I honestly do hope they dedicate money for relief funds there. And I'm not just saying this to pick on Manny, its true of all celebrity entertainers and athletes. How does dedicating an event or game towards a diseaster area help the immediate needs of the affected people?

i really feel bad of what happend over in the filipines.i said a prayer when i heard the news. but this is propaganda. being that he's a congressman and a proud filipino himself. it should'nt have taken him days to make a statement. floyd money mayweather made a statement right off the bat.

Hey DIMWITS...How do U know what Pac will or will not do for his Countrymen...
He has a History of GIVING to his People. That's why he's reported to have had
a Case of the $$$ Shorts from time to time. Best Gift, he has for them now, is
to Kick The A$$, of a tough Dude, named Rios. And why are some of U Chumps, worried about what Pac does with HIS Bread???

                    1) I think he should pull out of the fight, I don't think anyone could find fault with him doing that.

                    2) This kind of shows why he shouldn't juggle the two professions. Being objective about the whole thing, if you're a politician you should be around the people at times like this, but he has to split the commitment he should have for the people with his commitment to boxing; in the end both suffer.
