ward's not going to be in a competitive fight on paper until he moves to 175.

Unless he stays at 168 until GGG establishes himself as a top P4P fighter, or until Dirrell gets back on track.

Maybe with Kovalev. I don't see Adonis, B-Hop, or any other 175 seriously pressing him. Big Adonis fan, but Ward would smother his power and take him apart on the inside and to the body. Kovalev would have a good shot with his power and underrated skills.

Yeah I think Stevenson would be the easiest opponent for Andre among the top 175 lbers. Even Pascal would do better than Stevenson against Andre.

They also go hard on Andre Ward declining the VADA tests in the fight. Ronnie Shields slams him for not being a leader like Ward said he would in drug testing and not taking the initiative beforehand/during negotiations

They should too but could it be that Ward feels like it's 2009 and people would accept when a fighter declines such testing? If it was 2009, people would be calling Edwin a coward.. Maybe Ward was hoping to get that reaction?

Overall he has a point with the way Edwin and his team went about the test demands but at the same time why would Ward not just agree to the tests?

It's a huge disappointment at least for me it is. Lets hope Ward doesn't go 4 years without actually agreeing to test. That would truly display who he really is and what he could be doing.

Anyway, i'm more interested to see how Ward will do after being out of the ring for so long. I'm surprised he didn't fight some guy coming off a loss, or some guy who fights at a smaller weight class or even both. Being that this is tune up.
