James Toney sounds so punch drunk

James is a very close personal friend of mine and sadly i can confirm he is punch drunk

A reminder of the sacrifices a great fighter like Toney makes. It breaks my heart to see the results but what he accomplished? I hope he feels it was worth it....while its not another man's place to say whether it was I can certainly thank the man because he is a virtuosa in the ring...Like Mongel warrior to horse, like Bird to the sax, like Carruso to the Opera...Watching Toney operate in the ring has a Platonic perfection to it.

Masamuni made such fine swords the Samurai were afraid demons (Tengu) possessed him....Toney is often surely, like Masamuni arrogant at times...but the man has been boxing royalty.

I hope the best for your friend James Toney. It is sad indeed to see him punch drunk but the body of work he has left behind has made him accomplished in his field of endevours, a boxing immortal.

On Ringside last week i don't know if he was jiggiling his leg but he was shaking a whole lot as well. Hopefully i'm wrong.

It seems to change though. I believe he is not punch drunk but rather either DRUNK from alcohol use or (and hopefully not) on drugs.

Exactly what I was going to say. You can really tell that the organizations do not have the boxers best interest at heart listening to James. Someone should save him from himself!

Toney reminds me of Al Pacino in Scarface when he's drunk in that restaurant talking about look at the bad guy

This is the life he chose. The boxing life. He knew the risks, we knew the risks. What else is he gonna do? He's a fighter. I will say that I'm pretty sure it's the countless rounds of sparring that ****3d him up. Sergio's got the right idea. You gotta limit that *****.
