I've yet to see the first one, but he was knocked down in the first fight.

Look Ismayl is good, but he was caught and had no idea what to do... he didn't clinch or move... he just stayed against the ropes with his hands up and got caught even more.... that's very bad against Kovalev

Say what you want about his chin but Sillakh is more talented than Kovalev. Kovalev can and may very well bomb him out but if Sillakh had a better chin he would beat Kovalev. There isn't anything special about Kovalev.

He didn't even really put his hands up, I guess kind of did at points but it was a wack ass loose guard that was so open it is hard to consider that defense. He still has his hands down a bunch though after Grachev started nailing him

Silakh is a very good fighter and will win some rounds against Kovalev before getting KO'd

I think he has a real chance. For the most part, i think he got bored and lazy against Grachev which led to him getting caught. But he doesnt have a great chin so kovalev basically needs to land 1 big punch. If he doesnt get him out by 6, i think Sillakh will take it

Sillahk has some decent physical attributes, he had fast hands, he can move, he is fluid in putting his punches together, he has good reflexes.

How he fights just isn't that good unless you are a total freak of nature and he isn't that good athletically or tough enough to fight that open.

Watching it back...yea. He put his hands up but in such a crappy way.
He wasn't covering jack and was putting his hands down while he was getting hit.
I've seen ****star's vaginas that weren't as loose as his guard.

If he fixed this, he'd be much more competitive. I can't even complain about his chin now seeing how many times he got hit because that'd deal plenty of damage to anybody

Literally you could show video of that fight to rookie fighters as what not to do.

It was so horrendously bad I don't think that it could be fixed, that style is ingrained in him. Which sucks because he does have some talent especially offensively, but you can't just get away with that against top end guys unless you are Roy Jones and while Sillahk is a really good athlete he isn't Roy and really Roy knew when to put his hands up in a proper fashion.

A real chance? ***** you high? Seriously, Kovalev will put a beating on Sillakh, since getting KTFO against Grachev, that guy has gone on a bum of the month trail that would make Joe Louis proud. Kovalev will be a huge step up.

Yes Sillakh has decent skills and good speed but he is being fed to the beast that is Kovalev. After that, it's either Stevenson or Hopkins for the KO.

Ismayl has faster hands but their foot speed is comparable.

I totally agree, he doesn't know what to do when he's hurt and that's not a good sign for the future, but we also need to look at why he got caught. From the moment I first saw him I said "this guy is excellent but only thing is his upper body is stationary". If you combine that with his low left hand and his tendency to admire his work after he lands punches, it's a recipe for disaster. He needs to hook up with the Mayweathers.
