Yes Sillakh has decent skills and good speed but he is being fed to the beast that is Kovalev. After that, it's either Stevenson or Hopkins for the KO.
    I agree.

I can't believe there are some people who give Sillakh a chance.

He's getting knocked out and quickly.

Let me guess.... Kovalev is a flatfooted, face-as-defense, mindless brawler? Am I right?

And I disagree, I think Kovalev can clean out and run 175.

Agreed. Sillakh is talented, very skilled and a good boxer who could probably beat most guys out there at 175

I think he'll be done by the 3rd and honestly wouldn't be surprised by a 1st round KO. I'll say it again, Ismayl sillakh is a very talented boxer.... on Nov.30 he is going to get absolutely starched and I said this in one of the previous threads, I have absolutely no idea what his team is thinking.... Seriously, I think he can beat a lot of "top" guys at 175, but Kovalev is going to obliterate him IMO.

Look Ismayl is good, but he was caught and had no idea what to do... he didn't clinch or move... he just stayed against the ropes with his hands up and got caught even more.... that's very bad against Kovalev
Yeah it seems there is no footage and I thought I heard someone say that before but boxrec doesn't list any KD's? Where did you hear that from? Boone has awesome credentials for a journeyman lol

He didn't defend himself bcse he was out on his feet from the right hand he had no bearings to do anything else but cover up if he gets caught again like that he's done for no clinching or holding will change it.

A couple of years ago he was hyped up to be the most dangerous man in the LHW. A boxer that Dawson and all everybody else avoided. Now he's being very underrated. I'm not surprised they took this fight though. They are desperate to get Silkah's career back on track and a big win over Kovlev and he's right back in the mix again.

Silkah has the skills to beat him but probably not the chin. If his chin holds up it should be a good fight. A few weeks before the fight against Grachev some people gave Grachev a good shot to KO Silkah. They said Silkah had been KO'd a few times in amateurs and had some chin issues. Silkah did look clueless when Grachev hurt him. He did not know what to do and then it was all over.

Sillakh makes blatant defensive mistakes, and gets bored halfway into fights against opponents that he can't finish. Sillakh is talented but Kovalev is also and all in all, the better fighter.

But he got hurt against Grachev when he became ****y and was trying to clown him like RJJ used to do in his prime, i still believe if Silakh stays disciplined throughout the fight he has a legit chance to outpoint the scary Russian

Sillakh v Cloud/Pascal etc makes more sense than this. His team is not looking after him and I feel bad for him because this is a sad waste of talent.
