People rag on him for taking Marquez over Pac.... but Pac was the first one to pass a rematch in favor of Marquez.Comment

Bradley has made over 10mill since signing with TR,I really don't know how anyone can say he's being treated poorly..

Don't pay attention to him, he's the typical racist Mexican like cuahu. I'm Mexican-American and Bradley clearly won that fight.Comment

Maybe Carlos Slim should arrange investments to help clean Mexico and keep all the illegal aliens in their country instead of coming here to proliferate in astronomical numbers.I read in a Mexican newspaper that Carlos Slim( who loves the Mexican fighters) is talking about arranging investments so that Mexicans never have to fight in the USA again. That would be a beautiful way for Mexicans to thumb their noses at the egocentric, Mexiphobic American cry babies! LOL!

Maybe we should boycott all the social service offices that give free money and food to the millions of illegal liens. Maybe we as Americans should boycott our own leaders for allowing this massive invasion of foreigners, maybe we should also boycott the illegals from our country, I would definitely be all for that.Mexicans shouldn't fight in the USA. The reason we get robbed is because white Americans are trying to validate their narrative that the old time white fighters are better than today's Mexicans and they judge, write and commentate with that agenda. We should fight in Mexico and Macau. We should boycott the Americans and make them lose money.

I didn't have a problem with him passing on that for Marquez, but it's not a perfect analogy:
Pac went for the more lucrative and harder fight for him in JMM, with much more fan appeal. There was 0 demand for an immediate Bradley rematch, since the first was lukewarm and not competitive on most cards. Since then Bradley's action rep has gone up a bit, still 375k buys vs JMM is not great
Tim went for a less lucrative and easier fight for him in JMM. Of course JMM was riding high, so there's extra prestige there
I understand the Pac fight was gonna be there as long as Tim didn't lose badly to JMM, so no issues with his choice. Just pointing out he's got very lucrative options with TR at this point.Comment

LOL,Pac would have been paid the same amount to fight Bradley that he was paid to fight Marquez..How was Marquez the tougher fight??Bradley beat Pac,at the time Marquez had not one a fight against Pac yet..There was no excuse for Pac not to fight Bradley right away tbh..I didn't have a problem with him passing on that for Marquez, but it's not a perfect analogy:

I love Pac,but tbh it was a bit of a sucker move to say..Oh majority feels I won so that means I don't have to show it in the ring..That's not what this sport is about..It was pretty disappointing by him imo..Comment

This is as good of a big payday potential win for Bradley as I see out there, so unless he's ready to face Manny (assuming Manny wins in 2 weeks), this fight has a real good chance of happening.
As far as who won the fight. On first watch, I felt anything from 115-113 Marquez to 116-112 Bradley would've been a good score. Several rounds were pretty close.
However, when rewatching, counting punches and looking at punch stats, there's a strong case to be made that Marquez actually pulled this out 115-113.
So why is everyone saying Bradley cruised? Because Bradley fought a smarter strategy and better fight than most would've guessed. Everyone was ready for Bradley to trade power shots in another crazy war and was very impressed when he did not.
Nevermind that neither fighter was landing many big punches and so many of the jabs from both fighters were just hitting glove.
I'm not saying Marquez definitely won, but I think it was very close on first watch and on second watch I actually feel there's a good chance Marquez deserved this.
I'm more of a Bradley fan than Marquez fan fwiw, Marquez whining after was annoying and I never particularly cared for him, but above these two I'm a boxing fan (neither are specific favorites of mine or anything).Comment
