But then again, I don't like this type of topic. Starts the race/nationality wars that are just so pointless. Let fighters represent who they want and fans to support and claim who they want.

It's true the Irish are the complete opposite of say mexico in that regard. It generally seems Irish won't claim you unless you're born there. Even being second generation Irish-American i'm still that.... Irish-American....I'm def not Irish. I met the Irish hurling team (interesting sport if you care) and they said it's better to claim you're Irish blooded than Irish.

Mexicans and Asians are similar they will accept you no matter where you are born as long as ur heritage is the same as theirs

Irish however don't unless ur born in Ireland and thus to them is the only way ur Irish


They don't care for Irish Americans, to them they are just "Americans".

Here we go again. The only people who use the word American is non-Americans and people who made it late to the states and want to fit in. Danny Garcia is Puerto Rican!!!!!!!!!!
