Donaire fails to impress.

And I don't think Donaire's heart is in the sport any more, being a father can change people's perspective. I get some of his updates on my Facebook feed, from what I seen he seems to really enjoy/love being a father, that could deplete his motivation and make him more concerned about his health.

I think that he should take a year off to consider what it is he wants to do, and then go from there.

But he's looked bad against lesser opponents before the Rigo fight... The Rigo may have been the final nail in the coffin but he clearly started losing the mental edge of a champion boxer a long time ago...

It seemed more like Rigo was just able to capitalize on what the lesser fighters couldn't.

The Darchy fight looked like proof of this since he clearly looked awful, but was able to keep it close early and pull out a win

dude, he looked gun shy against a guy he already ko'd............and the so called "lesser fighters" that couldn't capitalize on donaires flaws were some of the best in & around his division..........no one was actually gonna take it to donaire in those lighter weights (apart from rigo.



the dude had his soul ripped & his mind is no longer in boxing (which he openly admits) why ignore what donaire HIMSELF tells us? he tells us that he he's questioning his career in boxing. (this was before fighting vic) why ignore this......

even in one of the rounds.......vic hits donaire with a shot (& donaire later admits that he thought his chin was broke & was thinking about stopping) it's reminiscent of when rigo hit him in the eye & donaire thought his eye was gone. he's 2nd guessing & questioning himself because of a previous fight.......that EASILY = mentally destroyed.

Donaire just looked sluggish and not confident aanymore...plus darchinyan really came to win and looked good for a 37 yr old. I think donaire should try another tune up to bring back more of his confidence and motivation.

my position is that donaire was always a good p4p fighter but as of right now he's one of those fighters who doesn't handle a loss well at all.

Those are the people that just hate Donaire more than they like Rigo I have always liked both (until Donaire turned into a cry baby b*tch) so I have never ****ted on Donaire but tonight it did seem like Rigo gave him the Gun shy syndrome, he sounds mentally weak now because of the stuff he is saying seems like the excuses really where a symptom that he took the loss badly after all.

I was totally confused. Darchinyan is a past it version of the same guy who did not win any thirty seconds of any minute of any round against Donaire. WTF?! This should've been nothing but a confidence building showcase fight and he was losing it when he got that knockout. Like clearly getting the worst of it. Where is this guy's head?
