TMT in reality is just a clothing line not a promotional company; that company would be Mayweather Promotions but they don't have a LLC so for all intents and purpose its not a real company yet either. They all fight under Golden Boy license so no act violated.

I agree why no endorsements...he needs to leave Ellerbe and get with a better manager. Something wrong in his management in endorsement revenues. I have a feeling he will not get 40 mil his next fight due to contract....if he reads it...unless it's a viable opponent. jmo i could be wrong.

Heck Tim Bradley, Provodnikov...etc...have already big endorsements from Corporations...Nike...etc...why not Floyd? Bad management I guess?

Because a guy that is known for saying outlandish and racist statements and is coming off a jail stint for hitting a woman and threatening his own children's lives is toxic for most companies to pay any endorsement dollars. He used to have some deals with ATT and Reebok but both dropped him and Reebok even went so far as to deny they ever even had a deal with Floyd in the first place.

Floyd makes enough without them but don't think it won't affect him. Once the boxing dollars stop coming one wonders were the revenue for him will come. He is like TO and Barry Bonds were many people tolerate him because he is doing things in the sport. Once that ends not many people will want to deal with him and those TMT shirts that look like they were printed up at a mall Kiosk is not a viable revenue stream long term...

As far as management Floyd has the best in the business only Lebron James comes to his. After this Showtime deal only a bad crack habit or investing large sum in pea juice will make him go broke.

Your right, endorsements have nothing to do with the purpose of my post. Mayweather is doing extremely if not better than any boxer even without them. The point was the suing of Don King over the Ali Act and the "proposed" demand by Floyd that the only way he'll fight pacquiao is if he joined TMT and give TMT 5 fights which in turn violate the same act. I just went off subject because another member brought up the endorsement fact. I just wonder why he isn't sponsored by a commercial corporation like Nike or something? He's the best boxer of our era, correct? Even Bradley is sponsored by Nike. Is it poor management? Maybe you can help me on this off topic issue?

First thing about endorsements is Floyd has stated that he's his own man and iF he wants to use a product that he doesnt endorse, he will do what he wants and not be a slave to some company, that will sue him For exercising his Freedom oF choice. Basically he will not have some company dictate what he wants to buy or use iF he Feels like doing it.
As for pac, that was not a legal negotiation, it was a statement made in the press. No contracts presented, Don had a contract and told the fighter he had to sign or not get the fight. It was not a legal negotiation. And all of this is moot if pac just took the damn test.(he didnt agree to it until the second or third negotiation for the fight and at the time floyd already had a fight sceduled) In our generation of PED's why is it such a horrible thing to Drug test? So in my eyes he was ducking by not taking a drug test all the other terms were agreed to, if Pac just takes the test this fight would have already happened, the next negotiations was derailed by Bob because he said he needed time to build a stadium when everything else was already agreed to. first time Pac wouldnt take a drug test, so that was on him. Second time was on Bob because they both had agreed to terms but Bob said he needed time to build and outdoor stadium. I like pac and i also like floyd so unlike it seems in your writing i have no hidden agenda. It is what it is.
I just believe 9 out of 10 times a boxer will beat a brawler, a boxer has more options as to how they can win a fight. A brawler only has one and thats by a KO. Ill take the one with more options as opposed to only one. This boxer just happens to have the advantage of speed, strength, smarts, reach, and size...and oh yeah skills. Pac's only chance is by KO because he is not gonna outbox floyd for 12rds. I like both but my opinion is that floyd would win. You know how Pac kinda leaps in sometimes when he wants to attack? I think floyd would catch him in mid leap with one of those quick rights and floor him, then Pac will be trying to chase down floyd trying to get some revenge like he's prone to do, and catch counters until he's worn down. Hell, if jmm was hitting him with all those counters, what is he gonna do vs the best counter puncher in recent history...This last paragraph is just my opinion, the first paragraph are facts.

Then he said he would only fight him if Pacquiao took $40Mill flat and Mayweather took all of the PPV revenue which would make him around $100M

Then he said he had to actually sign to TMT and give him 5 fights

But we should take your word over theirs.....lol. After boxing he will get many endorsements if he chooses to. While he's in the midst of his career its obvious he doesnt need them, after his career He wont be in the spotlight of boxing therefore he wont have the mic in his face while PROMOTING the fight. Unless you guys still dont get that he does this act or previously did it as a way of PROMOTING his fights, hell he even has admitted as much. And if he didnt promote himself the way he does he would be Andre Ward (great skills but hardly any fans, Sugar shane was always classy and humble and most of you didnt support him or recognize his skill, so cut out the bovine scatology.
