What's funny is Ward is a guy that has cleaned out his division. He is THE champion has beaten all of the top contenders, beat the lineal champ in another division and is defending against the best contender that he hasn't fought yet. This is how the sport of boxing is supposed to work. 1 champion defending against the highest ranked contenders.

GGG, Kovalev and Stevenson haven't come close to cleaning out their divisions.

Yet Ward gets criticized and people suck these other guys off so much its become a part of their daily nutritional diet.

Ward is the reigning king at 168. If you want to fight him, put in work and get ranked in that division so you can get your ass kicked on HBO.

Ward put in great work between 09-11 but he's done nothing since and I don't consider Rodriguez to be a good win either (After he dominates him)

Ward's heading toward 30, he needs to get a move on and getting better fights even though he's the man around that division.

The issue of Ward "ducking" someone is quite tricky -- in the Super Six, each fight was mandatory... After the Super Six, Ward fought only once -- namely the great star Dawson...

Yeah no fault of his own (Other than Dawson at 168)

Injuries have set him back but the fact remains he doesn't have an impressive or legitimate win since 2011 and in my eyes he won't after Saturday.

Rodriguez is decent, solid but just not that good really.

If he can't get Golovkin or someone like Martinez at 168, he should just move to 175 that's where big fights are and they're all easy to make, Kovalev, Stevenson etc.

Do you agree or disagree that Ward beating Stevenson, Golovkin or Kovalev would do absolutely nothing for his career/legacy due to the fact that they don't "have resumes?"

Beating Stevenson, (one of) the bogeyman at 175 would solidify him at the top, not so much Golovkin who has never fought above 160 but I get the impression Ward isn't talking purely about quality of wins, but rather casual fan perception.
