I was going to make this point.

Going back further in time, there are few people who ever ranked or rated a "fighter of the decade" as they have done in the last 20 years.

The Ring Magazine ran a feature a few years back on every FOTD since the 1910s, which featured the likes of Langford, Robinson, ALi, Duran, Jones and Pacquiao.

I personally would rank Ali as the best in the 60s and the 70s. Leonard in the 80s and Whitaker, not Jones in the 90s.
