1960s- clay, but im sure there were better choices, i just cant think of any of top of my head

1970s-ali- duran close, but ali basically made his legend in this decade,, duran and monzon just had bad timing,,,

1980s- SRL- tyson and holmes come close but SRL was the man of the 80s

1990s- holyfield-- jones and oscar come close but no cigar

2000s- manny-- floyd is close but mannys wins over jmm, mab, morales trump him

2010s- floyd-- floyd has to be the favorite for the current decade, with ward being close

manny beat a prime MAB, prime JMM, and almost prime Morales,, those wins are better than anything on floyd's resume

damn no love for marvelous marvin in the 80s at least?...lol....it took srl 5 years to get up enough courage to fight a faded marvin....lol

srl-hagler-holmes 1a, 1b, 1c...srl had more higher profile fights, but too much retiring and unretiring for my taste...holmes and hagler fought in obscurity for years, but those cats didn't have the luxuries srl had, and had to go through evvvverybody to get some shine...

With that being said Ali ran the 60s, I would give...........Duran the 70s, SRL the 80s, Roy the 90s, Manny/Floyd the 2000s and 2010 will be.........I can't tell who is going to take the mantle after Floyd and Manny retire. Time will tell I guess.
