Give Richie a break, boys. The man is doing something right. Gotta love the fact that Cotto is being given a lot of good options. If I'm in his shoes I go with Sergio. Win or lose the option of fighting Canelo will still be on the table for Cotto.

50/50 for Martinez never, Martinez gets 4 or 5 million tops.

if Cotto wants a middleweight title Martinez is his best option. Martinez is a small middleweight. once he rehydrates he's only around 165.

Quillin used to fight at 168 and was even Bute's mandatory for awhile or maybe the IBF accepted him as a defense. Quillin is a big middleweight.

plus Martinez is the lineal champ at 160, Quillin is just a title holder at best.
      Something like this ^

if he loses to Sergio he won't get offered the same money

Lately, Martinez looks more and more like the Loch Ness monster of boxing -- everybody speaks about him, but nobody saw him (in a gym of some sort)...

... And what if Schaefer promised Floyd a middleweight belt fight -- provided that Cotto wins against Quillin?

Should fight Martinez or Canelo for the money. Quillin may be too big for him and is a waste of a fight. That fight is for GBP to market Quillin and nothing else, Cotto is beyond that and should max out his pay.

Gawd no! It'd be Trout all over again, and possibly worse. Crazy talk, but I think Quillin could stop Cotto.

Difference between Rosado and Cotto; Rosado is a true middleweight with enough power and size to hurt Quillin.....

Usually, I'd be kinda critical of a gey jumping up and fighting a weaker titlist as a belt grab. But much like JMM in the Bradley fight. Cotto has done enough and reached a point in his career where he's kinda earned that right, IMO.

why oh why are they trying to push Cotto to MW?
Quillin would erase Cotto's ass quicker than Martinez would
maybe they're trying to get Quillin a big name on his resume
don't mind that, but he proves nothing slaughtering a shot guy
Quillin needs to try unifying after Jacobs, if they do fight
Cotto should just quit or get his tiny ass to back WW
