This is one of those fights where he could not afford to make a mistake or it could be over fast. He has to box the perfect fight and if he wins, that is a huge accomplishment. It would put him right back in the picture. He should try to use a fierce jab and try to back Kovalev back and see if Kovalev can fight going back and use a tight defense. He can hit, for sure. Maybe he can rematch Grachev now that Grachev's chin has been cracked.

    Great point right there.

Sillakh can't afford not to take the opportunity. At least that's the way I look at it. Why not take a shot. Who else is offering him anything. Kovalev has respect for Sillakh and that's why he will crush him inside 5.

Sillakh is the more skillful and fine tuned boxer of the two, he could win on points its just his chin has no credibility and all those pilled up points could be meaningless at any time in the fight.

I'm team #Krusher all day. Even though I'm totally not sold on Superman Stevenson, he is a Kronk gym product so he can box. Clev had some success boxing Krusher Kovalev but he doesn't have the pop. Stevenson may. Kovalev is the test to see if Stevenson got lucky or if he belongs where he is.

This would be one of the best fights the sport could provide to date.
              A true "boxing schools" clash.
On one hand, Stevenson is a fine product of Emanuel Steward's school; on the other hand, Kovalev is the "Russian school" impersonated.
They are both boxing savvies, they both hit extremely hard...

                impersonated?....perhaps; incarnate, embodied, exemplified?

Sorry. The archaic meaning of "impersonate" is: To embody; personify.
We still use the term with this sense in our mother tongue -- hence the confusion...
