in this sport, you're only as good as your last fight, and cotto looked good in his last fight, martinez looked human in his last fight.

martinez is looking very vulnerable... against big middleweights... against cotto... he'd look like he was back to form... cotto don't belong at jr MW... he should really go back to 147

Cotto beat Delvin Rodriguez......This dude went Life-and-Death with Pawel Wolak....I know what you're thinking....Who the **** is that? That's exactly my point. Cotto destroyed an ESPN fighter that already lost to Trout.

Cotto's veteran type pressure, heavy body shots and snapping jab will be too much for fragile knees to handle. Chavez was high like a kite through the fight and all of the sudden he decided to let those hands go and threw Sergio around like a ragdoll.

that's perception for you whether justified or not. we see how it works on this site in a vacuum. a promising fighter has an off night and he's a hypejob. a good fighter loses to a better fighter and he's a bum.

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus online. Personally, I think Sergio had an off night against Murray. He doesn't look as spectacular against defensive fighters as he does against overly-aggressive fighters. But, against fighters that want to pressure him, Sergio looks amazing.

Sergio has never fought a fighter with the ring IQ of Miguel Cotto. Not even close. It's different when your tactics are matched and one upped through out a fight. Cotto beats him.
