Martinez didn't show the same footwork he had a couple of years ago, GGG is too strong and accurate and quickly cuts off the ring. It be like he was fighting JCC that came out on the 12, with more power a better technique from round one. GGG power wears down opponents like i've never seen, one of the most dangerous fighters in recent times.

If Martinez somehow overcomes his leg injury, he would have a hell of a shot, but thats yet to be seen.

His wheels won't do him much good because his tires will be flattened and he won't be given much room to move in.

I think it would be a tale tale sign for GGG if he could be effective against someone who has a jab and footwork...He seems to be solid when he has fighters on the ropes!!!

Good post, though I don't know about Martinez necessarily being overrated. I do agree GGG beats any version of him though. He's in a class above Sergio. Sergio's movement wouldn't give him much trouble. Perhaps in the opening rounds, but GGG covers ground like very few can. Also Sergio's punch resistance has never been very strong. GGG vs. Prime Sergio would be a very good fight. GGG vs. current Sergio would be somewhat of an easy victory for the Kazakh.
