a blood clot? he may be going down the joe mesi road now. he could have trouble getting sanctioned in new York, Nevada & California... I hope he is ok & can continue his career but I would retire if the doctors tell him to...

A blood clot is not the same as a subdural hematoma but in reality I don't know the prognosis of either. Joe Mesi's bleed was very minor from a medical standpoint, and even that was enough to ruin his career.

blood clot or hematoma could probably end one's career... hate to see magomed have to retire. wish him the best & a full recovery...

the 5th round perez catches magomed with a right hook that swells his face... the fight changed after that punch in my opinion. they start talking about the swelling early in the 6th but it was a right hook that started the swelling

This beating reminded me of when Stiverne broke Arreola's nose in the 1st round except that Arreola never had a chance because he couldn't catch or hurt Stiverne. Mago looked like he was going to stop Perez until the mid rounds and now I see what happened. I was going for Perez but it sucks for the better fighter to lose by misfortune.

his legs are f#cking enormous. i was shocked at their size.

he probably doesn't **** witht the best upstairs, but he can still punch hard. to the body he's a very good puncher too.

But a clot in the brain is no joke i hope he is ok he has some balls HW division needs guys like those two.
It fun to watch, but guys that take beatings like this have no longevity as contenders, especially at heavyweight.

It's like Lennox said, the idea is to hit and not get hit.

Fans may not like it, but they aren't the ones in the ring.

holy sh#T......... bleeding, bruising, and swelling on the brain is how people die in boxing.
