Glad that most people aren't falling for this ****. Stevens was nothing but fraudulent hype and should be ashamed.

he did well in the ring showed a lot of heart and was competitive if he'd been in against anybody else he may well have pulled off the win. But he talked a lot of **** beforehand and that tends to stick when u come up short

He did good, he didnt say anything outrageous, the coffin thing was kind of illadvised but credit to him for showing balls and stepping up, he was sharp and competitive until that hellacious knockdown, against normal contenders he will do ok, I hope this relaunches his career as a legit contender

russian crushin and !!shawn might want to actually watch another one of stevens' fights before you continue making asses out of yourselves.

first of all stevens is primarily a counterpuncher, even when he is being aggressive he is mainly just trying to pressure is opponents into making mistakes so they will throw ill advised punches and leaves themselves vulnerable to counters.

he always fights in spurts too, especially in longer fights during which he also spends lots of time against the ropes covering up and taking a rest. against findley, his last fight before golovkin he spent almost as much time with his back against the ropes trying to counter as he did against golovkin and he was winning that fight handily.

he did take more breathers against golovkin than he usually does, but thats to be expected with the bodyshots he was absorbing. he simply needed more rest, but other than that it was a typical curtis stevens fight he just had less success than usual.

the lesson of the story is you might want to watch the guys you are talking about more than once next time, since knowing what you are talking about significantly decreases the risk of you looking like ignorant buffoons.
