Still it does mean something because people always want that challenge especially from a top guy.

It is not the worst thing but it does show a guys limits and people always use those.
If Ward moves up and lost to Dawson, I wouldn't have said a thing, and chalked it up to the good big man, beating the good little man.

That's all it is to me.

He should definitely stay at MW.

He doesn't fair well at SMW.

I agree. I don't see that much size difference between GGG and Canelo, GGG is just taller and has a longer reach. He should continue to fight at his natural weight division, and Canelo needs to join him there soon.

I don't think there is much shame in losing to a guy like Ward or any fighter of that level. To most guys losing to Golovkin is/will be the same way, I don't think there is really any shame in Stevens' performance he lost to the better guy

It is like the deal with Froch he is clearly not as good as Ward but he is still viewed highly as long as Golovkin has other quality performances it should be not that big a deal, like I said it is just a limit maybe he isn't the best guy around his classes but maybe he is the 2nd or 3rd best guy (9th or 10th overall in the sport) like that isn't impressive.

OK, I can definitely agree with this.

BUT, him not moving up doesn't affect his legacy, whatsoever.

                    Marvin Hagler/prime B-Hop ring a bell?
