GGG beat him down,Stevens couldn't back up what he said before the fight. What do you think happens when you go forward? You open yourself up at lot more then just stepping back and waiting to counter.Stevens had the turtle shell because he was afraid of what was gonna come back at him.

GGG can have a Great Career cleaning out 160 than while at the top waiting for some of the current fighters at 154 eventually moving up to 160 and trying to take his Crown....That is what the great Marvin Hagler did!
      Completely agree with this post!

GGG got hit and a little off balance tonight but he was never in any serious trouble, maybe if Stevens had a sustained attack he could have done something but GGG held it down and rocked his ass. But no I don't think he should go to SM.

So the guy who GAVE up taking a massive beating while being in the surviving mode after being in mini comma (in 2nd round) deserves the rematch more than the fighter who was given a gift stoppage.... hm...

Golovkin looked great tonight. I don't view him exposed tonight, that's part of his boxing style and it is entertaining. As a big GGG fan I still got Ward beating him, Golovkin is true middleweight being at Super Middleweight puts him at disadvantage in my opinion. He should only go up once he dominated middleweight division if wants to an ATG.

OR, dominate the **** out of MW, and wait for JMW's to come up.

GGG IS NOT A BIG MW. CANELO IS THE SAME SIZE......

I like Mora over GGG and Mora is begging and pleading for the chance.

                  Amirite?
I agree with this. I am also tired of fighters being all over the place, moving up and down divisions, trying to be the next multi-champion.

Just stake out your ground in one division. If the guy has no problem making 160, he should remain a life-timer and go for the Title defense record. That's one way of becoming an ATG. Going up in weight has become a boring and done-to-death endeavor.

The only guys who do stay in division are the protected lower weights, regional fighters (Indonesian John, some Asian Title holder at a Midgetweight division etc,.), and they don't count.

lmao that wasn't a gift stoppage unless you were hopelessly begging for Rosado to land something big.

GGG fans should worry about anyone with slightly fast hands lol

It potentially may not mean that much, it depends on what he can get done at 160 alone. If the talent is around that he can fight enough meaningful guys it can be just fine.

Still it does mean something because people always want that challenge especially from a top guy.

It is not the worst thing but it does show a guys limits and people always use those.
