Based on what I saw tonight...GGG gives Ward the fight of his life

I wanna see how Ward looks against Rodriguez, I don't expect much rust if anything that Layoff could prove the be beneficial as he is basically starting his PRIME YEARS as a fighter
But right now...GGG not ready for Ward! His focus should be purely on cleaning out 160 for now, GGG should be considered a year or even 2 away!

GGG should stay away from a guy like Ward. GGG does not fight well in the pocket nor does he fight well backing up. He looks very impressive when he has his opponents on the back foot but the problem is that Ward fights excellent on his back foot. Ward also fights very will on the inside too. Its just a bad stylistic match for GGG. GGG would trash anyone at 160 pounds though imo. But someone with great mobility and technical skills will easily beat GGG. There is a reason why Froch looks good vs certain fighters but when he fought Ward he looked like a amateur.

GGG controls distance with that jab like none other. GGG is there to hit...but good luck actually hurting him. His chin is never in the air and Ward don't have power like that anyways. So we know Ward isn't stopping GGG.
The difference maker would be GGG's jab. It's hard, he controls distance with it and he pumps it constantly. It would give Ward's in and out, too close or too far style fits.
Would LOVE to see this fight...I think we'd see the best of both these guys but I could see GGG beating Ward via decision or KO.

Ward gives GGG hell and stops him. As we seen tonight GGG doesnt do well when on the defense. When Stevens was on the attack and backing GGG up, GGG got tagged with flush shots. Only problem with Stevans is he was undersized and had to much of a defensive mentality. GGG is slow and his defense is questionable and pressure will kill him.

Ward may not get a TKO or KO victory in quite some time again, and that's even against B-level Super-Middleweight contenders, yet alone GGG. I do believe he will outbox Golovkin though.
