  • Based on what I saw tonight...GGG gives Ward the fight of his life

And it has little to do with his power.

GGG controls distance with that jab like none other. GGG is there to hit...but good luck actually hurting him. His chin is never in the air and Ward don't have power like that anyways. So we know Ward isn't stopping GGG.

The difference maker would be GGG's jab. It's hard, he controls distance with it and he pumps it constantly. It would give Ward's in and out, too close or too far style fits.

Would LOVE to see this fight...I think we'd see the best of both these guys but I could see GGG beating Ward via decision or KO.

        Not in my book

Ward is the wrong fight for GGG

Stevens was just a plodder and he landed some big ****s and counters on Triple G

Ward stops GG and he knows it. As does Froch and Kessler. Cotto could probably beat him down

If Ward could back GGG up, he'd beat him. GGG's achilles heal like a lot of fighters like him is their inability to fight off their back foot. But he'd have to walk through his arsenal...it would be a tough fight for Ward.

One thing i can say without a shadow of a doubt is that Golovkin makes a laughing stock of Quillen.

                "GGG controls distance"

The #1 thing that makes Andre Ward a pound for pound fighter is his sense of distance. Ward will smother him, land and grab him up so nothing comes back in return. Rinse and repeat.

Power doesn't win fights. Skills do.

Andre Ward is the one guy he should never ever fight, it would be terrible for Golovkin. Golovkin likes his space and Ward wouldn't give that to him plus Ward is bigger and more rangy so Golovkin can't sit on the outside either

All the dudes at 160 and the rest of 168 I think Golovkin could possibly make it work but Ward beats him bad, very bad
