rigondeaux is a top 5 p4p guy, but current p4p and historic ranking are not the same. a win over floyd mayweather is leagues beyond a win over guillermo rigondeaux.
Let's be 100% honest. He hasn't won all those fights, so obviously, it's easy to say, "nah, that resumes not #1 P4P material."

If he actually did beat all those guys, I GUARANTEE you, people would be clamoring for him to be #1 P4P.

All technicalities aside, that's a godly resume to have.

And I never said it was exactly like beating a 122 lb. version of Floyd, but beating Rigo IS basically beating a 122 lb. version of Floyd. LOL.

          did i studder?

floyd doesn't have a single win on his resume that can compare to the doniare win for rigondeaux. it's longevity, the undefeated record, the weight climbing that makes floyd a great fighter. he's been one of the best for well over a decade now. that's what makes him great. it's not any single great win. his resume is a collection of good / very good wins. that he's done it so long and over so many weights is what makes him an all time great, and greater fighter than donaire and rigoneaux combined.

donaire in '13 is a great win with a capital G. you rank wins based on who was beaten and when.

nonito doniare was a top 5 p4p fighter at his absolute zenith. he's going to be in the hall of fame, and rigondeaux fought himi at the absolute height of his powers. floyd has never done that. floyd has hall of famers on his resume, but none were in their primes. oscar was past it. shane was past it and coming off of a huge layoff. castillo isn't a hall of famer. corrales? not a hall of famer hatton? cmon. shouldn't be a hall of famer. genaro hernandez? great fighter, but not even close to donaire, and on the back nine. marquez might as well ahve been fighting an older brother. total mismatch, and only classified as anything else by fanboys. marquez went back to lightweight for his next fight and weighed 133 lbs.

a comparison between their top wins isn't even close. rigondeaux's win over donaire is better than any single win on floyd's resume. that doesn't mean he's got a better resume, only that he's got the better single win.

There is no way he would beat Rigo or Mikey. Mikey may even KO him

I don't know if Vasyl beat Rigo, but in my opinion with 5 fights he can beat Micky

**** you guys want to move him faster than he wants to move himself he has the biggest advantage going for him which is he didn't start as a pro at 30 like Rigo so why rush him give him a couple years of acclimating with decent opposition before you throw him in there with top guys. As great as you may be as an amateur you don't know how your chin, stamina rationing, and many other things will work as a pro until you face decent competition that applies to everyone, and the importance of being used to that gets multiplied by 5 when facing a top level guy like some of those you mentioned.

But to answer your question if he did that in 3 years his nick should be "Vasyl The Second Coming of Christ Lomachenko"

He'd be a HOF, near ATG. That's a hell of a list of names.
