They were not misshapen it was the photo angle. They look the same from here. Rosado's has the same dip and bulge.

All Grant gloves have padding there. I could post pics of mine. It just creates more of a flat, consistent surface between the fingers and thumb when the fist is closed. Nothing sketchy there.
