The funniest thing I seen this clown due is get clown by fury LMFAO.

Then tried to say he's a real gangster and he done this and that, and gave fury and team a warning that they better not raise that finger and point at him again or else, and somebody did it again instantly to see whats up and hes lil wannabe hood friend jumps and say watch that finger man lmfao and naseem says naw its okay he didnt mean nothing by it LMFAO.

And that I sum up all east coast dude, nothing but talk. (funny fact, you notice how east coast rappers always getting punked out here and getting their chains snatched up lol, in fact they like the only ones that get their shit snatched)

I've read the stuff people post who know about the work Richardson does with young fighters in Philly, and combined with training a great fighter like Hopkins I can't help but have profound respect for him.

He does come across like he's always trying to be clever though, and it is kind of annoying sometimes.

He's OK. Likes the sound of his own voice a bit too much, and I can't go the 'i'm from the hood' routine. Good trainer though.

If you competed in USA Boxing on a high levelm especially on the east coast, you know Richardson..Richardson has been in the game for a long time and has watched some of the best fighters in the game develop, alongside of training some also. Not even speaking of his experience he's gathered from being around old heads in Philly like Bouie Fisher. He isnt the best trainer in the game but he's a good one. I dont mind that he talks alot because he speaks knowledge. We should be happy to have guys like him in the sport.

Well according to these forums all the well regarded trainers are frauds and over hyped.

Personally? The only trainer I think was over-rated for a while is Freddy Roach. He's still a great trainer, who will provide you with the absolute best facilities, but he's only right for offensive minded beasts. He doesn't help any fighters develop a good defensive technique.

He's a great trainer for offensive beasts like Pac or Provod, but he did nothing to help Linares or Khan develop their defensive techniques, he's not the right trainer for them, and for many many fighters. Do you think someone like Ward or Mayweather could develop that defensive technique under Roach? Hell no.

Naz is boxing, nothing phony about him. He does tons with the youth boxing in Philly. Sure he's biased for his fighters but what trainer isn't.

I don't know about him the trainer, he seems to have a good reputation in boxing but I do think he plays it up for the camera. Talking all the metaphors and code words he does.

                    He likes being on tv.

Maybe I am being too hard on him, he can come across as funny at times, but sometimes he just gets way too long winded for me.
I don't think the pool noodle and towel technique from when he trained Mosley for Mayweather was all that apt... and alot of his analogies seem to be vocalized for dramatic effect moreso than to grant some kind of extra strategic insight.

Other than that, hes a veteran, and been around. I'm sure he has knowledge to teach, but I wouldn't give him too much credit for Hopkins, much the same way I don't give Mayweather's trainers alot of credit for Mayweather. Hopkins and Mayweather are basically their own trainers at this point.
