I think TS meant he was slick for the type of fighter that he was.

Never called Broner slick or ever rated his defence on here, so this guy is just pulling random crap out of nowhere.Comment

In my honest opinion, off topic here but Chavez would have destroyed Pryor and I don't think it would be that competitive.Comment

Great is a stretch but he was damn good defensively.
That's going too far, Chavez would have never gotten bombarded with punches the way Marquez did against Diaz and Katsidis, granted a prime Marquez primarily used his legs to defend but Chavez knew how to roll and smother his opponents.

both chavez and marquez's defense decreased at that age (mid to late 30's)Comment

Also, people don't even understand what the definition of slick is, slick is being able to get your opponent to take the bait. The way Judah set Mayweather up, how Judah would paw with the jab and as soon as Mayweather reacted (Any little twitch) Judah's straight left hand came down the middle, that's slick. Or how Hopkins in instances jumped in against Tito, mind you he jumped in with the sole intention of then getting out, Tito reacted and Hopkins hit him with a short right hook. Doesn't have to be that complex though, hopefully you guys get my drill.Comment
