Bradley didn't beat Pac, and Rios is no Tim Bradley.

Tim got the official decision, so you know where I'm going with this. Manny can lose by robbery, which wouldn't indicate him being shot. Now if he gets KO'd or clear UD'd then we agree.

I'd give him full credit, Rios has actually taken more punishment and he hasn't had the long career Manny has, he's already slurring his speech too. It's not like he's any fresher because he ain't. People think that just because you fall under the pressure style Pacquiao is suppose to handle you, Rios mixes up his attack in close, his only issue is his foot speed which is why I don't see him beating Pacquiao. Now if Rios can close the gap fast enough it should get interesting.

Bradley didn't deserve credit, nor did Marquez for any of their first 3 fights, and in the last fight it appeared JMM was on roids and before his KO punch, he was getting beat.

If Pac loses this fight he is done. He would have killed Rios a few years ago.

            my question is this:

how could any boxing fan (real fan or bandwagon fan or pretend fan or frontrunner fan) seriously consider rios having a chance in this fight?

manny lovers and haters alike should know this fight is nothing more than a confidence building fight for manny to get a highlight reel KO and get back in the mix. shot or not, manny obliterates rios cause rios is pure trash. nothing more than trash.

mind boggling this fight is being discussed with "what ifs." the only "what if" should be "what if manny literally ends rios' life?"

A better question would be how can any real boxing fan, and not some giggly, bumsniffing fanboy, think that Rios doesnt have a chance? Boxing history has proven repeatedly that fighters decline with age and with the amount of punishment taken over time(and Manny has taken a lot in his long career because of his style). It has also proven that fighters rarely comeback to anywhere near where they were after being sparked clean out.

Some of this will depend on how the fight plays out but of course he should get credit.

Gong, come on dude. Rios has a very slim chance. SO slim that their promoter has already discussed who WON'T be fighting manny next.

The facts are this is Rios 1st time at ww. He is slower than Manny, less skilled, and has less power. Thats the reason Manny is still a 4-1 favorite.
