Plus, Robin Reid looked absolute crap in his last few fights before Lacy.. and his only training for Lacy was shadow-boxing beside a swimming pool. He just wanted one last payday. That Wasn't (in any way, shape or form) the Reid who won the WBC title in Italy and defended against Wharton when given no chance beforehand.

I just watched Calzaghe vs Eubank, I think that it will be a good fight. And by the way, Lacy only seems to look unstoppable to the people who post here. Lacy looks hardly good to me. Go to some other forums or read articles. Calzaghe may not be as good as he should for all his defenses, but he certainly has a chance against Lacy. If you want to talk old and shot, look how Robin Reid was able to expose Lacy. Calzaghe has got a lot to work with as far as *****s in Lacy's armor.

Sorry for a double post but I had to comment on how the forum automatically censored a word which has double meanings.
        Context means so much sometimes.

The more I see Calzaghe as an underdog, the more I start to feel like I will root for him. Calzaghe has a huge chance of getting the win.

People are talking more about Lacy because he's young, good looking, and American. It's as simple as that.

Eubank put up a good fight for an old man who had 2 weeks notice to fight Joe C. He even stunned Joe a few times.

Robin Reid may have been shot when he took on Lacy and paid for it, but he was dominated far more than Eubank was by the younger Joe C.

Here's a few things to consider:

Eubank was sly....but lost his speed. He had 2 weeks notice to fight.

Robin had never retired and was still active.

Eubank stunned Joe Calzaghe a few times.

Robin never got Lacy in any sort of trouble. What's this "exposed Lacy" you're talking about?

Lacy has been more active whilst Joe C has not been as much.

Eubank was weighing 193 with just seven days to go! He looked like an Ethiopian at the weigh-in for Calzaghe. Plus, he was rusty as **** (forget the sparring sessions in the Middle East) and had sacked long-time trainer Ronnie Davies. Eubank wasn't shot at all, he'd just foolishly been a 200lb man fighting at 168 since 1993 and foolishly severely weight-drained for this comeback fight against Calzaghe. He looked garbage against Calzaghe, but it wasn't exactly vintage Calzaghe either from how I remember it Joe was wreckless as **** alnight.
